From recording an eager friend’s first and only song, to crafting the sound of up-and-coming indie musicians, Chris J Bo has garnered a deep understanding of the complexities and fundamentals of music creation. He’s witnessed the process of coaching a vocal performance, capturing said performance, and then presenting that performance in its full beauty on a record.

In addition to a beautiful presentation, the most important part of musical expression is  expression. As an engineer, it is not only his job to make the listener understand, but also to make the artist feel understood.

Chris J Bo has had the privilege of seeing music creation and delivery from various angles, allowing him to watch the career of an artist multiple times over. He’s witnessed artists record for the first time, perform for the first time, release an album for the first time, get 1,000 views, and get 1,000,000 views for the first time.

Working closely and personally with so many artists has given him decades worth of experience over the course of several years. Every artist is different but there are also many patterns and fundamentals that exist in the abstract, spontaneous creative process. He wants to offer those learnings to who he works with so they can experience his favorite feeling,

fulfilling, expressive, creativity.
